Position: Component Engineers
Requirement: 1+ year of experience in Component Engineering.
Job Description
Duties:
Maintains the Approved Parts List (APL) or (AVL) Approved Vendors List for R&D
Selects alternate sources of supply & gets them approved.
Creates all changes, additions, deletions.
Assigns part numbers and constructs standardized descriptions for all new parts.
Reviews all requests for new components to assure that a current part can satisfy the requirements.
1-2 yrs experience in working on component analysis, costing etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Electronics
Familiarity with manufacturing and design environments.
Good oral and excellent written communications skills.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Must adapt to R&D work environments.
Knowledge on RoHS & Agile will be treated as an additional qualification
